Christopher Tidrick

Christopher Tidrick serves as the Chief Information Officer at Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, since August 2016, contributing to strategic technology consultation and inter-unit collaborations. Christopher's previous roles include Senior Director of Information Technology Partners, where oversight of college-wide IT services was provided, and Director of Business Information Technology Services, focusing on instructional technology and infrastructure. Additionally, Christopher leads the Generative AI Solutions Hub, connecting experts to enhance AI implementation at the university, and facilitates an annual IT leadership workshop. Prior experience includes director roles at the University of Illinois Extension, managing technology budgets and team leadership. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor’s in Government and International Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
