Donovan Sanchez

Donovan Sanchez, CFP®, serves as Chair, President, Director of Education, and Co-Director of Pro Bono at FPA of Illinois since January 2020, contributing significantly to the financial planning community. Additionally, Donovan holds the position of Senior Financial Planner at Model Wealth Inc. since March 2023 and teaches Financial Planning at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since August 2021. Previously, Donovan founded and owned SKYVIEW FINANCIAL PLANNING, LLC, and worked as a Financial Advisor at both Savant Wealth Management and Northwestern Mutual. Early career experience includes roles at FranklinCovey as an Education Quality Partner and as a Pre-AP English II Teacher at Sunset High School. Educational credentials include ongoing doctoral studies in Personal Financial Planning at Kansas State University, a Master of Science in Advanced Financial Planning from Golden Gate University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Brigham Young University.
