Erik Riha serves as the Director of Marketing for the Illini Union at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign since August 2006, leading a marketing team of seven staff. Previously, Erik held the position of Lead Assistant Director of Marketing at Campus Recreation, where oversight included managing two full-time graphic designers and supervising up to five student employees. Prior experience includes roles as Publications Coordinator at The Ohio State University, Director of Media and Public Relations for the Topeka ScareCrows Hockey Club, and Media Relations Director/Assistant to the Commissioner for the United States Hockey League. Erik holds a Master of Arts in Sport and Exercise Management from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication from Buena Vista University.
