Heather V.

Heather V. currently serves as the Senior Director of Advancement and team lead for the Major Gift Officer team at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, overseeing four officers focused on the Grainger College of Engineering while traveling throughout Texas and Northern California. Previous roles include Senior Director of Advancement for the Grainger College of Engineering, Director of Development and Alumni Relations for the School of Labor & Employment Relations, and Associate Director of Development for the College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to the University of Illinois, Heather V. held the position of Assistant Director of Development at American University and worked as a Major Gifts Officer for the American Red Cross. Heather V. holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland and two Master's degrees in Congressional Studies/Political Science and Political Science and Government from The Catholic University of America.
