Kathleen Book

Kathleen Book currently serves as a 4-H Youth Development Educator at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a position held since January 2025. Previously, Kathleen worked as an Inside Sales Representative at John Thomas, Inc. from April 2022 to January 2025, and owned and designed at Flowers by Book from September 2014 to January 2025. Kathleen was also a 4-H youth program coordinator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign between January 2014 and April 2022, and contributed as a Floral Designer and Wedding Consultant at Flower's Etc. from August 2010 to January 2014. Additional experience includes working as a Teacher's Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from August 2008 to May 2010, and as a Shop Assistant at English Hedgerow from February 2007 to January 2010. Kathleen holds a Master of Science in Agricultural and Extension Education Services from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2014-2018) and a degree in Horticulture, specializing in Greenhouse Management and Floriculture, from the same institution (2006-2010).
