Katie Dalton

Katie Dalton is a Broadcast Journalism major at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with extensive experience in video production and content creation. Currently serving as an Original Content & Development Intern at the National Football League (NFL) and a Football Creative Media Intern at the University of Illinois, Katie produces video content for social media platforms, attends practices and games, and focuses on recruiting and branding. Previous roles include an Entertainment Properties Video Intern at USA Track & Field, where Katie produced podcasts and promotional videos, and Video Production and Creative Intern at Chicago Sky WNBA, responsible for editing content for social media. As a leader of multiple video teams at Fighting Illini Productions, Katie has created content that has reached over 85,000 people and is committed to enhancing the visual representation of athletics. Additional experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant, where Katie taught journalism skills, and serving as the Head Multimedia Editor for The Central Times, founding its video department.
