Lance L. Larkin

Lance L. Larkin has extensive experience in anthropology and communication, currently serving as an anthropologist at the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory since August 2016. Concurrently, Lance has fulfilled the role of communication coordinator at the Computational Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since October 2014, managing digital communications for a large cohort of certificate students. Previously, Lance conducted significant research on African and global art markets and U.S. museums during a PhD program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, focusing on artist networks and museum operations. Additional experience includes contributions to the Graduate Employees' Organization, ownership of a graphic design business, and involvement with media organizations, complemented by a solid educational background in cultural anthropology and graphic design.
