Libby Knight

Libby Knight is an experienced marketing and communications professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications at the Carle Illinois College of Medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign since October 2015. Previously, Libby held the position of Assistant Director of Athletics Communications in the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics, where responsibilities included serving as the communications contact for various sports and coordinating high-profile events such as the 2022 NCAA Tennis Championships. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Kennesaw State University, where management of social media and internships was key, and a Graduate Assistant in Sport Information at the University of Illinois. Libby's foundational experiences include roles at Morehead State University, Major League Baseball, Indiana State University, and the Champaign County Sports Commission. Libby holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in Communications from Indiana State University.
