Lynne Dearborn

Lynne Dearborn is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of architecture, currently serving as the Associate Director of Design and Program Chair of Industrial Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where Lynne has been employed since July 2010. As a professor in the Illinois School of Architecture, Lynne teaches graduate and undergraduate studios that focus on under-served communities and the interaction between built and natural environments. Lynne has held various leadership positions, including Associate Director of the School of Architecture and President of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture. With a Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and extensive teaching experience in multiple institutions, Lynne reinforces a commitment to education and research in environmental design, fostered by a diverse professional background including service with the US Peace Corps.
