Benjamin Eric Kappelmann

Benjamin Eric Kappelmann, M.S., currently serves as the Assistant Director of Residence Life - Facilities and Operations at the University of Illinois Springfield since June 2020. Previously, Kappelmann held roles in various institutions, including as the Director of Residential Life and Housing at Lincoln University of Missouri, where responsibilities encompassed the administration and supervision of residence halls, and as AGM of Centennial Court Apartments with Campus Living Villages US, overseeing day-to-day operations and leadership. Kappelmann has extensive experience in residential life management, having progressed from positions such as Assistant GM and Assistant Director within Campus Living Villages US, and has also worked as a Youth Worker. Kappelmann holds a Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Central Missouri.
