Bryan Rives

Bryan Rives has a diverse work experience in the performing arts industry. Bryan started their career at the University of Missouri - St. Louis as the Director of the Touhill Performing Arts Center in 2002. From there, they held various positions including Director of James H. Whiting Auditorium at the Flint Cultural Center Corporation, Chief Operating Officer at the Michigan Opera Theatre / Detroit Opera House, and Director of SIU Event Services at Southern Illinois University. In 2012, they became the Managing Director at Applause Management Group, LLC. Bryan then worked as a Company Manager for VEE Corporation / Blue Star Media, where they managed the Pro Football Hall of Fame National Tour and Hello Kitty's Supercute Friendship Festival North American Tour. Bryan also served as a Production Manager B at Celebrity Cruises, Inc. and as a Tour Manager at Moscow Ballet. Currently, Bryan is the Director of Performing Arts Services at the University of Illinois Springfield.

Bryan Rives has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Production from The University of Texas at Austin, which they obtained from 1984 to 1987. Bryan also holds a Master of Arts degree in Business/Arts Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they earned from 1987 to 1989. Before attending university, Bryan Rives completed their high school education at Alief Elsik High School from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Primary & Secondary Care from Emergency First Response, and Advanced Open Water Diver, Private Pilot - Single Engine Land Rating, and Rescue Diver from various institutions.
