Matthew Negaard

Matthew Negaard serves as the Medical Director of Forte Fast at Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics since August 2020 and holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine since March 2021. Additionally, Matthew is the Director of Social Media for Ortho EM Pearls and an author for Academic Life in Emergency Medicine, both roles commenced in 2021. Contributions to MDCalc have been ongoing since 2016. Matthew holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine from the University of Iowa, an Emergency Medicine Residency from the same institution, a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology: Health Professions from Northwestern College.
