Christopher Redfearn serves as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Jamestown since March 2021, overseeing all residential undergraduate academic programs and managing college personnel while promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives. Prior to this role, Christopher held various positions at Valley City State University from August 2012 to March 2021, including Director of Choral Activities, Associate Professor, and Chair of the Department of Music, responsible for faculty hiring, student recruitment, and curriculum development. Additional experience includes serving as Artistic Director for the Colorado Mormon Chorale and New Century Chorale, along with teaching positions at Kearsley High School and Rigby High School. Christopher's educational credentials include a Doctor of Arts in Choral Conducting and Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado, a Master of Music from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor of Music from Brigham Young University, as well as post-doctoral studies in Higher Education Administration from the University of North Dakota.
