Mark Brown has over three decades of experience in academia, currently serving as a Professor of English at the University of Jamestown since August 1991. Prior to this role, Mark was a Lecturer at Vanderbilt University from 1990 to 1991. Mark holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in English Language and Literature/Letters, as well as a Master of Arts (MA) in the same field, both obtained from Vanderbilt University between 1981 and 1989. Mark began academic studies at Samford University, where a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature was earned from 1977 to 1981.
