Patricia Moulton Burwell

Patricia Moulton Burwell currently serves as the Owner and CEO of Phoenix Consulting LLC, a position held since July 2022. In addition, Patricia holds roles as a Research Consultant at the Washington Center for Nursing and Co-Owner of Ma and Pa's BBQ, both of which began in February 2022 and May 2021 respectively. Patricia is the Director of the National Forum of State Nursing Workforce Centers since June 2020 and has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Jamestown since May 2017. Previously, Patricia served as the Executive Director of the ND Center for Nursing from July 2011 to June 2022 and as an Associate Professor at the University of North Dakota from May 2002 to July 2011. Patricia earned a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the University of North Dakota, completing studies from 1994 to 2002.
