Bongani Stuurman

Bongani Stuurman is an accomplished executive committee member for community engagement at the University of Johannesburg, where responsibilities include supervising the ambassador program, administering career fairs, and serving as an administrative assistant. Further involvement includes roles as an executive board member for UJ Economics for Africa, deputy chairperson of the Faculty Council for Business and Economics, and PsyCad student influencer. Additionally, Bongani holds the position of director of operations for Project Safeguard Our Seas, advocating for ocean protection and local action for the High Seas Treaty. Previous experience includes serving as a youth policy committee member at the South African Institute of International Affairs and as an academic tutor at BrightSparkz Tutors, assisting students with various subjects.
