Emily Collins

Emily Collins is an experienced communications and engagement professional with a diverse background in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Communications Officer and External Relations and Events Co-ordinator at the University of Kent since February 2021, Emily supports marketing and event initiatives to bridge industry connections with research advancements. Previous roles include Engagement Officer at the Environment Agency, where contributions were made to the successful implementation of the £45 million York Flood Alleviation scheme, and various positions in customer service and project coordination. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of York and is pursuing a Level 6 Marketing Manager Apprenticeship at Cambridge Marketing College.
