Gemma Witts

Gemma Witts (FHEA) is a Learning Designer at the University of Kent since May 2022 and previously served as a Senior Careers Adviser. Prior to this role, Gemma Witts was a Lecturer in Careers and Employability and Director of Studies at Kent Business School from October 2019 to May 2022, and worked as a Careers Adviser and Employability Adviser at the University of Kent from October 2014 to October 2019. Additional experience includes administration and events at The Diocese of Canterbury, a temporary Employability Adviser role at the University of Kent, and experience as a Visitor Services Officer at Canterbury City Council. Gemma Witts co-founded PathMakers Careers, offering bespoke career guidance, and worked as a Careers Adviser at Connexions Kent and Medway. Volunteering at Citizens Advice Bureau laid the groundwork for a career dedicated to career guidance and employability support. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Career Guidance, a PGCHE, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Careers Guidance, along with various certifications in learning and development.
