James Corbin

James Corbin is an experienced professional in the field of employability and career development, currently serving as the Head of Careers and Employability at the University of Kent since December 2012. In this role, James leads the strategic development of the Careers and Employability Service, enhancing student preparation for employment in alignment with the University’s Employability Strategy. Prior positions at the University include School Administration Manager and Placement Development and Employability Manager, where James focused on supporting student work placements and skills development. Additionally, James has been actively involved with ASET since November 2013, assuming roles such as Vice Chair and member of the Executive Committee, emphasizing employer engagement and integrated work-based learning. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Higher Education and a degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from the University of Kent.
