Lauren McDowell

Lauren McDowell is a professional accountant with experience in various financial roles. Currently serving as a Staff Accountant II at the University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union since April 2022, Lauren is responsible for managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, reporting, and the rehabilitation process for student loan borrowers. Previously, Lauren worked as an Accountant at the Kentucky Higher Education Student Loan Corporation from February 2018 to April 2022, where accounting expertise was applied in similar areas. Other roles include serving as a Bank Teller at First Southern National Bank, where transaction processing and customer service were key responsibilities, and earlier positions as a Cashier at Kroger and Walmart, developing customer service and cash handling skills.
