Candyce Coleman

Candyce Coleman has been working in admissions operations for the University of La Verne since January 2009. Prior to that, they were a graduate assistant at Harvey Mudd College, where they evaluated and reviewed student resumes, grad school admission essays and personal statements. Before that, they were a marketing assistant at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they transformed the office from a graphic design studio into a full-fledged marketing department, doubling the student staff size and supporting the university with marketing services. Coleman has also supervised 21 student-staff in the areas of marketing, graphic design, journalism, photography and Web. Candyce has performed student evaluations, interviews and terminations, developed and conducted training for student staff, and served as project manager for all communications projects. Candyce has also conducted final edits on all printed pieces produced by Gas Creative Group utilizing AP Style.

Candyce Coleman has a Masters in College Counseling and Student Development from Azusa Pacific University and a BS in Communications from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

Candyce Coleman works with Judy Henson - LFCE Associate Director, Sherri Mylott - VP, University Advancement, and Aracely Torres - Director, Title III Grant and First Generation and Peer Mentoring Programs. Their manager is Devorah Lieberman, President.
