Emmett L. Terrell

Emmett Terrell is retired deputy superintendent with the Pomona Unified School District. He has 22 years of experience leading Human Resources in a 30,000+ student district, with over 3,000 personnel, and 40 years of experience as an educator/administrator in an urban, low income K-12 district where 39% of students are English Language Learners. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of La Verne and a master’s from Azusa Pacific University. He currently serves as a member of the L.A. County Fair Association and L.A. County Fair Educational Foundation, as a Board member for Hillcrest Retirement Community, and as a Board member for Bright Prospects.
