Ann Allen

Ann Allen currently serves as the Director of Innovation and Campus Development at the University of Leeds since May 2022 and is also the Chief Executive Officer at the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) since August 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director of Estates and Commercial Services and Director of Estates and Buildings at the University of Glasgow from May 2012 to May 2020, as well as a Non-Executive Director at Gentoo Sunderland and a Trustee at the Ethical Property Foundation between 2012 and 2016. Previous positions include Head of Asset Management at John Lewis and Head of Estate and Facilities at HBOS plc. Ann also worked as a Surveyor at Slough Estates plc from 1989 to 1994. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Land Management from the University of Reading, completed between 1979 and 1982.
