Claire Watson

Claire Watson serves as the PACE Associate Director for Education Online and Hybrid Education at the University of Leeds, where Claire has held various roles since September 2002, including Associate Professor in Fashion and Deputy Pro Dean for Student Education in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Culture. Claire Watson is also the Director of Student Education for the School of Design and a Senior Teaching Fellow. In addition to academic roles, Claire Watson runs Claire Watson Coaching as a Women's Leadership Coach since August 2019. Previous experience includes working as a Design Consultant from January 1997 to May 2007, producing design packages and trend predictions for notable organizations such as Next and John Lewis. Claire Watson started her career as a Designer at Alice Collins and Coats Viyella, gaining valuable industry experience. Claire Watson holds a Master of Arts in Fashion & Textiles from Nottingham Trent University and a BA in Constructed Textiles from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, University of Dundee.
