Elizabeth Garcha

Elizabeth Garcha is an experienced professional in research quality and impact, currently serving as the Head of Research Quality and Impact at the University of Leeds since July 2019. Prior roles include Research and Innovation Development Manager focusing on the Culture theme at the same institution, as well as a Research and Impact Fellow at the University of Sheffield earlier in 2019. Garcha has an extensive background in various impact-related positions, including Knowledge Exchange and Impact Manager at the University of Sheffield, Research Impact Strategy and Policy Officer, and REF Impact Officer at the University of York. Other notable roles include Partnerships and Impact Project Officer at the University of Leeds and Policy Manager at the Economic and Social Research Council. Garcha holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Development from The University of Manchester.
