Lisa Marshall has extensive experience in academia, currently serving as Pro-Dean for Student Education in the Faculty of Environment and as an Associate Professor in Food Chemistry at the University of Leeds since November 2008. In addition to these roles, Lisa held the position of Interim Head of School for Food Science and Nutrition and has served as Director of Student Education and Industrial Placement Tutor, contributing significantly to graduate recruitment initiatives. Previously, Lisa was a Lecturer in Food Science at the University of Huddersfield, where responsibilities included leading multiple modules and supervising BSc and MSc projects. Lisa also served as Secretary for the North of England Branch of the Institute of Food Science and Technology from 2009 to June 2014. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Food Science and a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Development focused on Higher Education Practice, complemented by a BSc (Hons) in Food Science and A-Levels in Sciences.
