Nazia Nasir

Nazia Nasir is a Research and Innovation Development Officer at the University of Leeds, specializing in the purification and structural studies of macromolecular complexes involved in DNA damage response. With experience as a Research Associate and Communications Facilitator at Inter-Change Research, Nazia contributed to the Emerging Research Cultures project, fostering a community of practice in Biomedical Sciences. As an eLife Ambassador, Nazia aims to promote equitable research environments globally. Earlier roles include freelance academic copyediting and positions as a visiting researcher and Humboldt Postdoctoral Researcher. Nazia holds a PhD in Biological and Physical Sciences from the National Institute of Immunology and a BS in Chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University.
