Jaxon Reiter

Jaxon Reiter is a dedicated academic with substantial experience in biological research and education. Currently serving as the President of the Graduate Students Association at the University of Lethbridge since May 2023, Jaxon also holds the position of Graduate Student Researcher at the same institution, focusing on a senior honors thesis under Dr. Elizabeth Schultz, investigating Arabidopsis mutants related to gametophyte development and auxin transport. Jaxon has contributed to the Department of Biological Sciences as a Biology Teaching Assistant, overseeing tutorials for large groups of students, and has gained diverse research experience through roles as an Undergraduate Researcher, Greenhouse Assistant, and participation in various independent studies. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Lethbridge, completed in 2022.
