Muhammad Golam Kibria, PhD, SMIEEE, is a distinguished academic and researcher currently serving as a Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh since October 2018. Kibria is involved in various academic committees, including the Academic Council and Curriculum Development Committee, and serves as an advisor for the Internet of Things (IoT) Lab. Prior to this role, Kibria held multiple positions at the University of Information Technology & Sciences from May 2008 to September 2018, including Head of the CSE Department and Associate Professor. Kibria also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, focusing on IoT and the Semantic Web. Additionally, Kibria worked as an IT Manager at China National Electric Wire and Cable Import & Export Corporation from May 2003 to August 2006. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Engineering from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, a Master’s degree in Mobile Computing and Communications from the University of Greenwich, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from North South University.
