Prof Dr Mofazzal Hossain

Prof Dr Mofazzal Hossain currently serves as Pro-Vice Chancellor at Southeast University in Dhaka, Bangladesh, since April 2024. Additionally, Mofazzal has held the positions of Dean of the School of Science and Engineering and Professor in the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh since January 2019. Mofazzal's extensive academic career includes a professorship at East West University from 2008 to January 2019 and an earlier role as Assistant Professor at Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology from April 1994 to 2008. Mofazzal also gained research experience as a Post Doctoral Visiting Researcher at Tokyo Institute of Technology from November 2005 to November 2007, focusing on material processing with plasma. Mofazzal holds a PhD and a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kanazawa University, as well as a B.Sc Eng. in the same field from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
