Godefroid Dislaire

Godefroid Dislaire is a highly experienced Senior Research Engineer at Université de Liège, specializing in sensor-based sorting and characterization for recycling applications within the Reverse Metallurgy project. With a strong background in machine vision, Godefroid has led the COGOLIN project to enhance control over the size and morphology of rock fragments in challenging conditions. In 2018, Godefroid co-founded Metheore as Interim CTO, further developing the LaserSieve technology. Prior roles include R&D Manager at Occhio, where development of a particle analysis software was a key focus, and various engineering positions with a foundation in firmware and software engineering. Godefroid holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in Mining from the University of Liège.
