Thierry Salmon

Thierry Salmon has extensive work experience in various industrial and research roles. Thierry started their career in 1983 as an Engineer of Research at the Compagnie Intercommunale Bruxelloise des Eaux (Vivaqua), where they worked until 1984. In 1985, they joined the Centre des Technologies Nouvelles as a Research Engineer, where they focused on developing a technology for producing amino acids through enzymatic hydrolysis of slaughterhouse waste and their purification using preparative chromatography. Since 1986, Thierry has been working at the Université de Liège (ULg) as a Senior Chief Industrial Engineer. In this role, they have been involved in the development and control of processes for treating drinking water, industrial water, and wastewater, including the construction, control, and development of pilot units, as well as studying various reactors such as activated sludge, bacterial bed, SBR, and membrane reactors.

Thierry Salmon attended the Institut Supérieur Industriel de Bruxelles (ISIB) from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Industrial Chemistry.
