Amy Birch

Amy Birch PhD is a seasoned researcher and consultant, currently serving as a Senior Researcher Developer at the University of Liverpool since February 2023, where leadership of a career and professional development programme for research staff is a primary focus. Amy has extensive experience in developing resilient leadership skills, exemplified through roles as a consultant at Resilient Leaders Elements and Co Director at AFB COACHING & CONSULTANCY LIMITED. Previous positions include Researcher Development Manager at the University of Bath and Research Staff Development Consultant at King's College London, contributing to various aspects of researcher welfare and development. With a strong background in molecular biology and neuroscience, including research roles at Imperial College London, Amy holds a PhD in Neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin, alongside advanced degrees in Evolutionary Psychology and Zoology.
