Anna O'Connor

Senior Lecturer at University of Liverpool

Anna O'Connor is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Liverpool, with a focus on visual development, particularly in preterm infants. Since December 2002, Anna has taught undergraduate courses in the Orthoptics programme, emphasizing visual development and clinical assessment. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Retina Foundation of the Southwest from January 2001 to November 2002, Anna participated in various research projects in paediatric ophthalmology. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Orthoptist at the University of Nottingham, where Anna conducted ophthalmic assessments for children in a longitudinal study. Anna O'Connor holds a PGCert in teaching and learning in higher education from the University of Liverpool, a PhD in Child Health from the University of Nottingham, and a BMedSci in Orthoptics from The University of Sheffield.
