Olufemi Olajide (BDS, PhD) is currently the Head of Data Science at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, where responsibilities include leading a team to implement AI and Machine Learning strategies to enhance patient care. Olufemi serves as an Honorary PhD Supervisor at the University of Liverpool and has led a £20 million AI project for the Children's Hospital Alliance to improve outpatient services across ten NHS Paediatric Hospitals. Previously, Olufemi held the position of Senior Information Analyst/Data Science Lead at St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, developing forecasting models for Accident and Emergency services. Olufemi's extensive background includes project management in public health and clinical data coordination, complemented by a Doctor of Philosophy in Caries Epidemiology and Health Inequalities and certifications in Machine Learning and Public Health Intelligence.
