Monika Marcinkowska

Monika Marcinkowska is a full professor at the University of Lodz, with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. Since October 1998, Monika has contributed to academia while also serving on various supervisory boards. Current roles include being an independent member and chairperson of the supervisory board at ING Polska and a member of the supervisory board at Bruegel. Monika has previously held positions at the European Banking Authority as a member of the Banking Stakeholder Group and has served on boards of multiple financial institutions, including Polski Gaz Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Wzajemnych and Dom Inwestycyjny Xelion, demonstrating extensive expertise in management and banking. Monika holds a Ph.D. and a Dr hab. degree from the University of Lodz, along with an M.A. in management.
