Clayton Wheeler has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research. Clayton started their career as a Research Engineer at Texaco in 1997 and worked there until 1999. Clayton then joined the National Institute of Standards and Technology as a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow from 1999 to 2001. Since 2001, Clayton has been associated with the University of Maine, where they held various positions, including Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering and currently serves as the Director of Forest Bioproducts Research Institute and Professor of Chemical Engineering.
Clayton Wheeler completed their education in Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. Clayton earned a B.S. degree in 1992, followed by an M.S. degree in 1996, and finally a Ph.D. degree in 1997.
