Erin Paxton Miller is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in communications and conservation. Currently serving as the Research Communications Manager at the University of Maine since March 2016, Erin leads strategic communications for the research enterprise and graduate school, and has contributed to brand strategy development for the university. Previous roles include Marketing and Communications Manager for the College of Earth, Life, and Health Sciences, and Communications Specialist for the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture. Erin's experience also encompasses public relations coordination at the Oregon Coast Aquarium, where media engagement efforts generated significant media coverage, and positions focused on conservation planning with the USDA and event coordination for the Lassen County Farm Bureau. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a concentration in Agricultural Communication from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
