Anil Kumar Kanuri

Anil Kumar Kanuri is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Malaya since March 2022, specializing in Computational Chemistry and Artificial Intelligence, focusing on predictive models for drug discovery. Anil has also served as a Research Scholar and has experience in investigating novel oligopeptide and silica composites for diabetic wound healing. Currently, Anil tutors Monash Biomedical Science students and has instructed in MUFY Chemistry and Biology. As the Head of the Green Chemistry and Sustainability Unit for the Chemistry Society at Universiti Malaya, Anil promotes environmentally responsible practices and initiated the ChemShare Project. Previous positions include roles at Biophore India Pharmaceuticals and Aurobindo Pharma, focusing on quality assurance and vaccine development. Anil holds a PhD by Research in Pharmacy from the University of Malaya and has completed an MSc in Organic Chemistry from Andhra University, along with a BSc in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry.
