Dr. Fatima Sajjad

Dr. Fatima Sajjad is an accomplished academic and founder of The Pluriversity Lahore, a multilingual educational platform aimed at fostering diverse knowledge and promoting indigenous research. Serving as a Faculty Lecturer at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies since February 2019, Dr. Sajjad also holds the position of Director at the Centre for Critical Peace Studies and acts as a PhD program adviser at the University of Management and Technology. Notably, Dr. Sajjad chaired the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Toronto from November 2021 to November 2023 and partnered with organizations such as the United States Institute of Peace and UNESCO, contributing to projects focused on peace education and social-emotional learning. Dr. Sajjad's educational background includes a Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of the Punjab, an MPhil from Kinnaird College for Women, and an MSc from Quaid-i-Azam University.
