Iain Webster

Iain Webster has extensive work experience in the field of business analytics and research in innovative wound management. Iain currently holds the position of Head of Business Analytics at the University of Manchester Innovation Factory, a role they began in August 2023. Prior to this, they held the same role at Smith & Nephew Advanced Wound Management from November 2015 to September 2023. Iain also has previous experience as a NPD Programme Manager and Technical Manager at Smith & Nephew Advanced Wound Management, as well as a Programme Director at Smith & Nephew Biologics. Iain began their career at Smith & Nephew Wound Management as a Project Manager and held this position from 2002 to 2009.

Iain Webster received a BSc in Chemistry from the University College of North Wales, Bangor, from 1985 to 1988. Iain then pursued a PhD in Polymer Chemistry at the University of Liverpool from 1988 to 1991.
