Don Owens

Don Owens is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning over four decades in various leadership and management roles. Currently serving as the Director of Career Services at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor since January 2001, Don assists students and alumni with career exploration and job placement. Prior experience includes being the Division Director at L.L. Sams Inc., overseeing the church furniture division, and serving as Retail Banking Center Manager and Banking Office President at Compass Bank, where responsibilities included marketing and operations management. Don has also held significant roles at Peoples National Bank, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, the Belton Area Chamber of Commerce, and Mill Creek Golf Club. Educationally, Don holds a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Temple College, along with training from PGA Business School.
