Dr. Jerry G. Bawcom

Dr. Jerry G. Bawcom serves as President Emeritus at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor since June 2012, following a distinguished tenure as President of the UNIVERSITY OF MARY HARDIN-BAYLOR FOUNDATION from February 1991 to June 2009, and as President of Texas Wesleyan University from March 1984 to December 1990. Dr. Bawcom holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Higher Education Administration with minors in Student Personnel Services and Educational Psychology from the University of North Texas, as well as a Master's Degree in Education focusing on Secondary Education and Administration of Sports & Physical Education from Texas Tech University. Additionally, an undergraduate education at Texas Tech University resulted in two Bachelor's degrees, one in Secondary Education with an emphasis on Mathematics and Physical Education.
