Lem Taylor, Ph.D., FACSM, currently serves as a Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and Director of the Office of Graduate Studies at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor since August 2008. Taylor teaches courses in Applied Physiology and Critical Inquiry, while also leading graduate studies initiatives, including chairing various councils and overseeing graduate admissions. Previous roles include Executive Director of the Texas Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine and President of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. With earlier academic positions at the University of West Florida and Baylor University, Taylor holds a Ph.D. in Nutrition, Physiology, and Health from Baylor University, and has degrees in Exercise and Muscle Physiology and Exercise and Sport Science from Texas Christian University and Abilene Christian University, respectively.
