Brent Hernandez

Brent Hernandez is an experienced professional in higher education, currently serving as the Director of Graduate Student Services at the University of Maryland's Graduate School since June 2022. Prior to this role, Brent held the position of Director of Student Services at the School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation from September 2019 to September 2022. Brent has extensive experience with College Park Scholars, having worked as Assistant Director from 2011 to September 2019 and in a previous role as Assistant Director from June 2010 to September 2019. Earlier in Brent's career, a position as an Advisor at the University of Maryland lasted from January 2006 to June 2010. Brent holds a Master’s degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from Loyola University New Orleans.
