Brent Solomon

Brent Solomon is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in valuation, financial advisory, and academic instruction. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business since August 2016, Brent also works independently as a Strategic Financial Advisor, offering CFO advisory services to private equity funds and companies involved in mergers and acquisitions. Previously, as a Partner and National Practice Director at CohnReznick LLP from September 1998 to February 2016, Brent led the Valuation Advisory Group, conducting numerous valuation and financial advisory engagements. Additional experience includes partnerships at Rudden & Associates and roles in financial reporting at The Mills Corporation and Questar Properties, along with foundational work at C-I / Mitchell & Best Company and Grant Thornton. Brent holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland and a Master of Science in Finance from The Johns Hopkins University.
