Debra Murray

Debra Murray currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Sponsored Programs Accounting and Compliance at the University of Maryland, a position held since May 2015, with previous roles including Interim Assistant Vice President and Associate Director of Compliance and Cost Analysis. Additionally, Debra has contributed to the National Council of University Research Administrators as a faculty member for the Financial Research Administrator Traveling Workshop since January 2018. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Sponsored Projects Financial Operations and Assistant Director of Sponsored Projects Compliance at Georgetown University from October 2010 to May 2015, as well as holding various positions at the University of Maryland from December 1998 to September 2010. Debra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of the District of Columbia.
