Melina S.

Melina S. currently serves as a Planning and Construction Project Coordinator in Facilities Management at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities include reviewing construction documents and evaluating project submittals. Previously, Melina gained experience as an intern in the Montgomery Park's Director’s Office at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, completing diverse tasks such as leadership training presentations and event planning research. Melina has also worked as a concierge at Walt Disney World, supporting guest experiences at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Additional roles include a Teaching Assistant for the History of Architecture at The Catholic University of America, a Junior Architectural Designer at OLBN, Inc., and earlier positions in various customer service and architectural internship roles. Melina is pursuing a Master of Engineering in Project Management with a focus in Construction at the University of Maryland, following a Bachelor of Architecture in Environmental Design/Architecture from The Catholic University of America.
