Mostafa Fakharifar

Mostafa Fakharifar, PhD, PE, LEED GA, is an accomplished academic and engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering. Currently serving as a College Lecturer at the University of Maryland, Mostafa has also held multiple roles at Thornton Tomasetti, including Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, and Senior Structural Engineer. Moreover, Mostafa gained valuable research experience as a Post-Doctorate Research Fellow at Missouri University of Science & Technology. Mostafa earned a PhD in Structural Engineering with a focus on Earthquake Engineering and Structural Dynamics from Missouri University of Science and Technology, following a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering from Semnan University.
