Tayo Taiwo

Provost’s Graduate Student Advisory Council Member at University of Maryland

Tayo Taiwo, MInstTA, is currently a member of the Provost’s Graduate Student Advisory Council at the University of Maryland and serves as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Maryland Department of Transportation and the National Center for Smart Growth. In these roles, Tayo analyzes publicly owned land near rail transit to aid state legislators in planning residential housing density. Additionally, Tayo is a Planning Intern at Toole Design Group. Previous experience includes a Research Internship at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, and a position as a GIS Analyst at GIS Konsult. Tayo holds a Master's degree in Community Planning from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Technology in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.
